How to Request a Feature

If you have an idea for a new feature to improve ElevateAP, you can submit a feature request directly within the application. Other users can view your requests and vote on them, and Ascend prioritizes the requests that receive the most votes.

Tip! Another user may have already requested the feature you need. Make sure that you search for [link] existing feature requests and vote on them.

Submit a Request

You can submit a feature request at any time from within the application:

  1. Log in to ElevateAP.
  2. Click the Request a Feature widget on the right-hand side of any page.

  3. Click Make a Suggestion.

  4. Fill out the form. Suggested requests will automatically populate. If you don't see your request, select Submit Request.

If you don't have an ElevateAP account, your teammate can submit a request for you.

Search for Existing Requests

To find out if someone has already requested the feature that you need, you can search existing requests:

  1. Log in to ElevateAP.
  2. Click the Request a Feature widget on the right-hand side of any page.
  3. Start filling out the form to view recommended requests.
  4. If you don't see your request, click the pop-out icon  to open the window in a new tab.

  5. In the Dashboard, use the search bar in the top right corner to search for a feature request.
    • For example, you can search “rotate invoices.”

Vote and Comment on Existing Requests

Voting on requests is the best way to let Ascend know you agree with an existing feature request. To vote on an existing request:

  1. Log in to ElevateAP.
  2. Click the Request a Feature widget on the right-hand side of any page.
  3. Click the pop-out icon to open the window in a new tab.
  4. Use the search bar to find a request, or browse requests in the Suggested by Others section.
  5. When you find a request you would like to vote on, click the like button to let us know it’s useful or the snooze button if it’s not useful.

To add a comment, click on the link to the request and enter your comment in the discussion box.

Our Product team reviews comments weekly to make informed decisions about the needs of our users. Your feedback is essential to Ascend’s product roadmap.

How Ascend Reviews Requests

Ascend’s Product team reviews requests weekly and promotes the top-voted requests that align with current market trends and existing projects to our product roadmap.

Once a request has been reviewed, the Product team changes the status of the request from “Not Reviewed” to one of the following:

  • Reviewed
  • Planned
  • Awaiting Feedback

To ensure you’re up-to-date, you receive an email notifying you when the status of your request has changed. If your request is changed to “Awaiting Feedback,” your Customer Success Manager will contact you for more information about your request.
