Documents with email messages now have a timestamp 📅⌚

You asked and we listened! Documents sent to an Ascend AP inbox that’s set up include the email on the last page now also show the date and time Ascend AP received the email. The timestamp is in UTC in the top left corner of the last page, above the email message.

Want to include the email text and details within your documents? Contact Customer Support to enable this setting for your Ascend AP inbox.

In-App Help Center search now available 🔎

Our Help Center is searchable within Ascend AP! You can now use the Resource Center to quickly find Help Center articles and reference how-to information directly in Ascend AP. To use this new feature, click the book icon to open Ascend’s Resource Center and select the Help Center option to look up information.

 

Improved tax accuracy with past invoice data 🛠️

The Use Previous Lines and Code From Last Invoice features now take into account the Tax Option selected on the last invoice. When a non-PO invoice is sent to Ascend AP and is set to code from the last invoice, or you select Use Previous Lines, Ascend AP will enter the untaxed line values from the current invoice and then apply the Tax Option from the previous matching invoice. The new tax rate will automatically be calculated, and the invoice will be balanced based on line item proportions from the last invoice.
