Ascend Release Notes: February 2026

Improved PO Totals Synchronization 🔄

We've streamlined how Purchase Order (PO) totals are updated to ensure you always have the most accurate data.

Previously, users were required to manually trigger an On-Demand PO sync to see updated line statuses, invoiced and received quantities and amounts.

New Line Workbench Sync Button

You can now trigger a sync directly from within the Line Workbench by clicking the Sync Button. This allows you to refresh PO data without navigating away from your current task.

Smart Sync Logic

To ensure system performance and prevent overloading, the system now checks if a sync has occurred within a specific timeframe. If a recent sync is detected, the system will use those existing totals rather than starting a new request.

These changes are available in both the standard and updated versions of the Ascend interface.

While the new Line Workbench sync button is exclusively for Purchase Orders, existing global sync options remain unchanged. The Document Entry page still contains On-Demand sync functionality for Purchase Order Number, Supplier Contract Number, Supplier, and Reference Invoice.
