Set your team up for success with Ascend Academy

Ascend Academy provides comprehensive ElevateAP eLearning for new users with curriculum tailored to each individual’s specific user role. Learners engage with multimedia content and activities that are exclusive to Ascend Academy to learn how to process invoices, manage users, use analytics, and more. This eLearning can be completed on your own time, at your own pace, giving you the flexibility to train your team without heavy interruption to your day-to-day work.

Each course provides valuable context and demonstrations of each feature, followed by hands-on activities for learners. As you complete your Ascend Academy coursework, you will actually process and submit invoices in your own ElevateAP Sandbox environment. If you’re onboarding, this will also serve as User Acceptance Testing. During this time, it is critical that your team members process and submit invoices in ElevateAP, so you hit the ground running at go-live.

Once you complete Ascend Academy, you will be a certified power user of ElevateAP. You will have used every feature of ElevateAP, and be able to take advantage of every aspect of AP automation that ElevateAP has to offer.

 

FAQ

How do I log in to Ascend Academy?

First, you’ll need an invitation, which will come from Articulate.com and read “It’s time to start your Ascend training!” When you accept the invitation, you’ll be able to set up your account in Ascend Academy.

Once you’ve set up your account, you can log on to academy.ascendsoftware.com and complete your training there.

Ascend Academy does not integrate with your organization's SSO. You will create unique sign-on credentials for Ascend Academy.

 

What do I need to complete my Ascend Academy training?

The only 2 things you will need to complete Ascend Academy are access to your ElevateAP Sandbox environment, and some sample invoices from your suppliers to process. If you are training as part of Onboarding, your teammates with User Admin permissions will set up your ElevateAP account as part of their training.

 

How much time will I have to complete my Ascend Academy training?

You will have 14 days to complete Ascend Academy. Users typically take between 8-10 hours total to complete the training, depending on your specific user role. However, this can (and should) be broken up into shorter sessions to take at your own pace.

 

What if we add new members to our team later?

If you add team members further down the line, submit a ticket to learn more about enrolling them in Ascend Academy. This ensures that your team members are trained using the most up-to-date information on new features and best practices.

 

How do I enroll my team in Ascend Academy?
